Based upon the 5-Star Outschool Class, this highly praised FTD Club Pen Pal Letter Writing Workshop brings Fraydo the Dragon and his pals to life through the magic of ANIMATION and into your child’s classroom.
This course is a 4-part class. All components have been pre-recorded so that your teacher and their classroom can go at their own pace. This workshop is simple to follow, educational and entertaining. Access includes over 2 1/2 hours of entertaining and educational classroom content focused on Pen Pal Letter Writing as well as age-appropriate social-emotional topics of conversation.
Your child’s classroom will have fun meeting new friends in The Kingdom of Aragon and learning how to craft a pen pal letter along the way. Each week provides a humorous and engaging vignette that focuses on relevant storyline topics throughout the week, including friendship, empathy, problem-solving, and self-awareness.
At the end of the 4 classes, students will receive a Certificate of Awesomeness from the Kingdom of Aragon for their work in the class.
=>Each pre-recorded class, served up via Canvas, is led by award-winning author Courtney Spain Aragon.
=>Each class has a unique interview between the Author and the newly animated characters, including Fraydo The Dragon, The Queen, The Knight, and Pee Wee the Dragon.
==>Each class provides an opportunity to craft a reply Pen Pal letter (or drawing) to a different character each week.
=>Each student will be awarded the Certificate of Awesomeness at the end of the workshop for his/her participation in the Pen Pal Workshop.
